CytoMed Therapeutics Limited said it received a notice from the staff of the Nasdaq Listing Qualifications department on October 6, 2026. The Singapore-based company announced it on October 9, 2026.
Nasdaq said the closing bid price of the company's ordinary shares had been below the minimum of US$1.00 per share for the last 30 consecutive business days. The requirement is set out in Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2). The letter has no current effect on the listing or trading of the shares on Nasdaq.
Under Nasdaq Listing Rule 5810(c)(3)(A), the company has a compliance period of 180 calendar days, or until April 5, 2027. If the closing bid price is US$1.00 per share or higher for at least ten consecutive business days in that period, Nasdaq will confirm compliance in writing and close the matter.
If the company does not regain compliance by April 5, 2027, it may be eligible for an additional 180-day period if it meets the market value of publicly held shares requirement and all other initial listing standards for The Nasdaq Capital Market except bid price. It would need to give notice that it intends to cure the deficiency, by a reverse stock split if necessary.
The company says it intends to take all reasonable measures to regain compliance within the grace period.
