CytoMed Therapeutics Limited is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company developing cell-based immunotherapies for human cancers and degenerative diseases. It has two platform technologies for off-the-shelf cell-based cancer immunotherapies that do not depend on a patient's own blood cells, one using healthy donor blood cells and the other using induced pluripotent stem cells, known as iPSC. The company says the products exploit the multiple antigen recognition systems of NK cells and gamma delta T cells to target a broad range of cancers, including solid tumors where CAR-T therapy has limits. It is developing four cellular immunotherapy candidates. Its lead candidate, CTM-N2D, is being evaluated in the ANGELICA Trial, which National University Hospital Singapore conducts, with CytoMed supplying the product at no cost. The trial has received co-funding from MOH Singapore through the National Medical Research Council. Patient recruitment began in November 2024, and the company anticipates recruiting more patients in 2026. CytoMed is incorporated in Singapore and conducts its business mainly through subsidiaries in Malaysia.
