About aibio.space
aibio.space is a news site for biotech investors. We cover the capital-markets side of public biotech and pharma companies: financings, debt financing, distress, legal cases, listings and mergers. Our directory lists 2,820 public biotech and pharmaceutical companies worldwide, and every company has its own page.
What we cover
- Financings: stock offerings, IPOs, private placements, at-the-market programs, convertible notes and buybacks (782 stories so far).
- Debt Financing: convertible notes, term loans, credit facilities and other debt raises, with the lenders named (316).
- Distress: going-concern warnings, bankruptcies, restructurings, layoffs and missed payments (285).
- Legal: securities class actions, derivative suits, SEC matters and patent cases (153).
- Listings: exchange deficiency notices, reverse splits, delistings and new listings (520).
- Mergers: reverse mergers, takeovers and tender offers (248).
- Medtech and Pharma: the same coverage for medical device, diagnostics and pharmaceutical companies.
- Analysis: opinion on single companies, built from their own filings and labelled as opinion.
Small companies get the same attention as large ones. Much of what we report, such as a reverse split, a Nasdaq notice or a class action at a company worth less than $100 million, gets little coverage elsewhere. Our trackers collect these events in one place.
How we report
Every story starts from a primary source: an SEC filing, a court record, an exchange notice or the company's own release, linked in the story. We report what the source says, in our own words, and add no figures the source does not contain. Every number and quote is checked against the source before a story is published. When we get something wrong, we correct it on the page with a dated note. The full method is in Disclosures and method.
Independence
Companies cannot pay for coverage, for a better rating or for a story to be removed. A company can buy a labeled Company Channel to publish its own posts on its page; those posts are marked as company content and never change our reporting. Nothing on aibio.space is investment advice.
Who publishes aibio.space
aibio.space is published by Rubicon Crossing Ventures LLC. Conflicts of interest and how we handle them are set out in our disclosures.
