Immunovant is down to one drug and a long wait for proof
Immunovant has cut down to one drug and a clear calendar, with enough cash to reach its 2027 Graves' disease and myasthenia gravis readouts. Two misses in 2026 have weakened the case that deeper IgG lowering always wins. The randomized part of the arthritis trial and the 2027 data will decide whether IMVT-1402 stands apart from approved FcRn drugs.

Opinion only. The Investor Rank is aibio.space's opinion of the company's business position, drawn from the public sources on this page. It is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security and it is not investment advice. It does not consider the share price, valuation or your circumstances, and it can change at any time. Payments from companies never affect it. How the rank works.
- Technology
- Mechanism validated, drug not yet. FcRn blockers are approved in myasthenia gravis, but IMVT-1402's only published patient efficacy numbers so far are open-label.
- Odds
- Mixed track record. Batoclimab missed in phase 3 and IMVT-1402 missed in cutaneous lupus, while open-label arthritis data looked strong.
- Balance sheet
- Funded into 2027 readouts. Cash was $797.8 million at June 30 after a $153.2 million quarterly loss.
- Main risk
- Single-asset concentration. All value now sits on IMVT-1402, in markets where argenx and others are already selling FcRn drugs.
- Watch next
- Arthritis update first. The difficult-to-treat RA program update is due in the second half of 2026, then Graves' and myasthenia data in 2027.
