Advanced Biomed Inc. has received a deficiency notice from Nasdaq because its share price has stayed below the exchange's $1.00 minimum.
On July 18, 2025, the Listing Qualifications Department of The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC told the company that its common stock had closed below $1.00 for the last 32 consecutive business days. That breaks Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2), which requires a minimum bid price of $1.00 per share for continued listing on the Nasdaq Capital Market.
The notice has no immediate effect on trading. The stock continues to trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol ADVB.
Under Nasdaq Listing Rule 5810(c)(3)(A), the company has 180 calendar days, or until January 14, 2026, to regain compliance. To do so, the stock must close at $1.00 or more for at least ten consecutive business days in that period.
If the company misses the deadline, it may qualify for an additional 180 calendar day period. That requires meeting the market value of publicly held shares requirement and the other initial listing standards, except the bid price rule. The company would also need to tell Nasdaq it plans to cure the deficiency, including by a reverse stock split if necessary.
Advanced Biomed, based in Tainan City, Taiwan, said it will monitor its closing bid price and consider all available options.
