Privacy policy

This policy explains what aibio.space ("aibio.space", "we", "us", "our") collects when you use the website at aibio.space and the emails we send, why we collect it, who helps us process it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to the website, our emails and the forms on the site. It does not apply to other websites we link to.

The short version

We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising by others. The site itself sets no cookies. If you subscribe, we keep your email address and a record of your consent, give you full access, and email you, including offers, until you unsubscribe. Stock charts come from TradingView, and they load only if you choose to show them.

Information we collect

What you give us. If you subscribe, we collect your email address. If you write to us at contact@aibio.space or use the correction, right-of-reply, company update or claim forms, we collect what you send, your email address and any name, role, organization or links you include.

Google or Facebook. If you subscribe or log in with one of these accounts, that company tells us your email address. We ask for nothing else, such as your name, contacts or posts, and we keep no access token from them. If you subscribe with Facebook, we email you a confirmation link first, as with an email sign-up. The company you choose learns that you used its account with aibio.space, under its own privacy policy.

Consent records. When you subscribe and when you confirm, we record which way you signed up (email, Google or Facebook), the date and time, the IP address and browser you used, the page you subscribed from, and the exact wording you agreed to. We keep this to show that you agreed, and to honor a withdrawal.

Information collected automatically. When your browser asks our server for a page, the server receives your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page and the time. These logs are kept for 30 days to secure the site, prevent abuse and fix faults. We do not combine them with your email address and we do not use them to build profiles.

Company customers. If you buy a Company Channel, we collect your name, role, work email and company, and the posts you send. Card payments are handled by our payment provider, which receives your card details directly under its own privacy policy. We do not see or store card numbers; we receive confirmation of payment, the billing name and address, and the last four digits of the card.

Reader discussion. If you post in the investor discussion on a company page, we store your post, the display name you choose, whether you said you hold the stock (long, short or no position), your bullish or bearish tag, the time, and a coded fingerprint of your email address (a keyed hash, not the address itself) that links your posts to your membership. Your post, display name, position and tag are public. Your email address is never shown. We also keep reports that members make about posts, and records of the moderation steps we take (deleted posts, restricted or closed accounts, and the reason). We use this to run the discussion, apply the posting limits, stop abuse and comply with the law. You can ask us to delete your posts, or all of your discussion data, by writing to contact@aibio.space from your member address. We will delete it, except where the law requires us to keep a record, for example of a post we removed that may break securities laws, or where we must keep it for a legal claim or a request from a regulator or court. We keep those records only as long as that need lasts.

What we do not collect. We do not collect payment details, government identifiers or any sensitive personal information. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Please do not send us confidential or sensitive information through the forms.

Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar store that stays on your device and is not sent to us with each request. This is the complete list of what aibio.space and its embedded services store:

We use no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no social media pixels and no fingerprinting. Our emails contain no tracking pixels and our links are not rewritten to track clicks. If we ever want to add any of these, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Your choices. You can clear local storage and cookies in your browser settings at any time. Clearing aibio_member turns off full access in that browser until you sign in again. To stop TradingView charts loading automatically, press this button:

How we use information

We use your information to give you full access to the site; to send you emails, including offers and promotions, if you subscribed; to confirm your address and send sign-in links; to answer your messages and handle corrections and company requests; to keep the site secure, stop spam and abuse, and fix problems; to keep records of consent and of unsubscribe requests; and to comply with the law and protect our rights. We do not use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Emails, offers and unsubscribing

Subscribing means you agree that we may email you, including offers and promotions. There is no newsletter to configure. Every email identifies aibio.space as the sender and includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and promotional emails are identified as such. Offers may concern our own services or products and services of other companies, but we send them ourselves: we do not give your address to the companies whose offers we feature. Unsubscribing stops all emails and ends full access. We keep your address on a suppression list after you unsubscribe so that we never email you again by mistake.

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. We share it only with:

  • service providers that run the site and our email for us and may use it only on our instructions: our hosting provider (Hostinger), our email delivery provider (Amazon Simple Email Service) and, for Company Channel customers, our payment provider. Our subscriber list sits in software we run ourselves on our own server;
  • authorities, courts or other parties when the law requires it, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is needed to protect our rights, our users or the public, or to investigate fraud or abuse;
  • a buyer or successor, if the site or its business is sold, merged or transferred, who will be bound by this policy for information collected under it.

How long we keep information

Membership and email records: while you are subscribed. After you unsubscribe: your address on the suppression list for as long as we send email, and the consent and withdrawal records for three years, to show we acted lawfully. Unconfirmed sign-ups: deleted after 7 days. Messages and form submissions: until we finish dealing with them and up to two years after that, longer if needed for a legal claim. Company Channel billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually seven years. Server logs: 30 days. Backups roll over within 30 days.

Security

Every page is served over HTTPS. The subscriber database is on a private network with no outside access, access to our systems is limited and protected, and sign-in and confirmation links are signed, single use and short lived. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Where information is processed

We operate from the United States and our providers process information in the United States and other countries where they have facilities. If you use the site from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in those countries, which may have different data protection laws from yours. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as standard contractual clauses with our providers.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and unsubscribe at any time. Write to contact@aibio.space from the address in question. We may need to confirm your identity before acting, and we will reply within the time the law in your location allows (30 days in most cases, 45 days for requests under US state privacy laws). We will not treat you differently for using your rights, though we cannot give full access without an active subscription.

European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland. Our legal bases are: your consent, for the emails we send you, including offers; the performance of the free membership you ask for, to keep your record and give you full access; and our legitimate interests, to secure and run the site, to keep consent and suppression records, to answer your messages, and to establish or defend legal claims. You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and you can withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. You can complain to your local data protection authority.

California and other US states with consumer privacy laws. In the last 12 months we have collected identifiers (email address, IP address), internet activity (server logs of pages requested) and the content of messages you send us, from you and your browser, for the purposes listed above. We have disclosed identifiers and internet activity to our service providers for business purposes. We have not sold or shared personal information, used it for targeted advertising or profiling, or collected sensitive personal information. You can ask to know, correct and delete, and you can use an authorized agent with your written permission. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of sale and sharing, although we do neither. If we deny a request, you can appeal by replying to our answer, and if the appeal is denied you can contact your state attorney general.

Notice of financial incentive (California). Free full access is offered in exchange for your email address and your agreement to receive our emails, including offers. You opt in by ticking the box and confirming your address, and you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link in any email or on our unsubscribe page, which ends full access. We do not sell your information. We estimate the value of a member's personal information to us as roughly equal to the value of the free access we give in return, which we calculate by reference to our costs of producing and hosting the members-only content.

Children

The site is meant for adults interested in investing. It is not directed to children under 16, and you must be at least 18 to subscribe. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, write to contact@aibio.space and we will delete it.

Links and third-party services

Stories link to publications, company websites and regulatory filings, and charts come from TradingView. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. For a material change we will post a notice on the site and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent again. Continuing to use the site after a change means the updated policy applies.
