The facility and the first draw
TuHURA Biosciences, Inc. received its first draw under a revolving credit facility on May 26, 2026, for $1,700,000, according to a Form 8-K signed by Chief Financial Officer Dan Dearborn. The company, based in Tampa, Florida, said it expects to use the funds for general corporate purposes.
The company entered into the Loan Agreement with Parkview Holdings One LLC, as lender, on April 21, 2026. The facility matures on April 21, 2031, and gives a maximum amount of loan availability of $50 million. The full agreement was filed as Exhibit 4.1 to the company's Form 8-K filed on April 22, 2026. The 8-K does not state the interest rate, the collateral or the fees. It names no placement agent or advisor for the facility.
The 8-K names several risks. The company may be unable to satisfy the conditions to draw funds or to stay in compliance with the loan terms. Funds available under the facility may be insufficient to fund operations and development programs as planned. The filing also cites potential conflicts of interest, because the lender is an affiliate of the company's largest stockholder.
The business and its Phase 3 trial
TuHURA describes itself as a Phase 3 clinical stage immuno-oncology company. Its lead candidate, IFx2.0, is an innate immune agonist that the company says is designed to overcome primary resistance to checkpoint inhibitors. In June 2025 the company started a single randomized, placebo-controlled Phase 3 registration trial. The trial tests the candidate as an add-on to Keytruda (pembrolizumab) in first line treatment of advanced or metastatic Merkel cell carcinoma, in patients who have not received a checkpoint inhibitor. The company says it is using the FDA's accelerated approval pathway. The 10-K overview reports no efficacy results from that trial, which began only in June 2025.
The company also acquired TBS-2025, a VISTA-inhibiting monoclonal antibody, when it completed its acquisition of Kineta, Inc. on June 30, 2025. The Kineta holders received merger consideration of about 4 million shares of TuHURA common stock: 0.185298 of a share for each Kineta share, for approximately 2,868,169 shares, plus approximately 1,129,880 shares issued in December 2025. They are also entitled to a pro rata share of any cash received from disposed legacy Kineta assets. TuHURA plans a Phase 1b/2 trial of TBS-2025 in relapsed or refractory NPM1-mutated acute myeloid leukemia. A third program uses its Delta Opioid Receptor technology to develop antibody-drug conjugates aimed at myeloid derived suppressor cells. The company has no revenue in either 2025 or 2024.
The company's history is also part of the story. It became TuHURA through a reverse merger with Kintara Therapeutics completed on October 18, 2024. The 10-K also describes earlier names for the business, including Del Mar Pharmaceuticals and Kintara Therapeutics.
Losses and cash
The 10-K filed March 31, 2026 reports research and development expense of $20.5 million for 2025, against $13.3 million for 2024. The net loss was $30.1 million for 2025, against $21.7 million for 2024. Cash used in operations was $27.6 million in 2025, against $14.7 million in 2024. Year-end cash and cash equivalents were $12.7 million at the end of 2024.
The facility matures in April 2031 and is available only if the company meets the draw conditions. The first draw of $1,700,000 is small against the $50 million maximum. The company's own risk factors say the facility may not be enough to fund its plans, and that a lender tied to its largest stockholder creates a possible conflict. Those points sit alongside a Phase 3 trial with no reported results and a cash burn that rose in 2025 from the year before. The $27.6 million used in operations in 2025 exceeds the $12.7 million of cash held at the end of 2024.
