Sol-Gel Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq: SLGL) said it received a letter from Nasdaq on May 22, 2025 notifying it that it has regained compliance with the Nasdaq Minimum Bid Price Requirement. Nasdaq now considers the prior bid price deficiency matter closed.

A bid price deficiency means a stock has traded below the minimum price Nasdaq requires. On May 21, 2024, Nasdaq's Listing Qualifications staff had told the company that the bid price of its ordinary shares closed at less than $1 per share over the previous 30 consecutive business days, which did not comply with Listing Rule 5550(a)(2).

Nasdaq gave the company a 180 calendar day compliance period. On November 19, 2024, Nasdaq determined the company was eligible for an additional 180 calendar days, until May 19, 2025.

Nasdaq made its compliance determination after the closing bid price of the ordinary shares was $1.00 per share or greater for the last 13 consecutive business days, from May 5, 2025 through May 21, 2025.
