Scienture Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCNX) said on Oct. 13, 2026 that its preliminary, unaudited revenue for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026 was approximately $1.22 million. That is an increase of 256% over approximately $344,000 in the second quarter of 2026. The announcement was made in a GlobeNewswire release attached to a Form 8-K filed October 19, 2026. The figures are subject to customary adjustments, and the full third-quarter results will be included in a Form 10-Q filed with the SEC.
What drove the increase
The company attributes the increase to the commercial launch of REZENOPY in August 2026, with initial wholesale shipments, along with continued sales growth and increasing market adoption of Arbli. Arbli wholesale unit sales rose 74% sequentially, and the company cited recent institutional formulary additions. With its August 2026 launch, REZENOPY becomes the company's second commercial-stage product.
Narasimhan Mani, President and Co-Chief Executive Officer, called the results a significant inflection point. Shankar Hariharan, Executive Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer, said the company sees significant opportunities to penetrate its addressable markets, particularly through institutional adoption, healthcare provider engagement and strategic commercial partnerships.
The products
Arbli is a liquid formulation of losartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker for hypertension. The release says it is the first and only liquid formulation of losartan on the market that does not require compounding, and the first and only oral liquid formulation of losartan approved by the U.S. FDA. It is approved for hypertension in patients greater than six years old, for reducing the risk of stroke in patients with hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy, and for treating diabetic nephropathy in certain patients with type 2 diabetes. It is a peppermint flavored suspension that does not require refrigeration.
The release lists safety information for Arbli. It should not be taken during pregnancy, should not be co-administered with aliskiren in patients with diabetes, and should not be given to patients with severe hepatic impairment. The most common adverse reactions are dizziness, upper respiratory infection, nasal congestion and back pain.
REZENOPY is a naloxone hydrochloride nasal spray, 10 mg, indicated for the emergency treatment of known or suspected opioid overdose. It is supplied as a carton containing two blister packages, each with a single spray device. The release says it is contraindicated in patients known to be hypersensitive to naloxone hydrochloride, and that patients should be kept under continued surveillance because of the duration of action of naloxone relative to the opioid.
Company and financial position
Scienture Holdings is a holding company for existing and planned pharmaceutical operating companies. The Delaware corporation is based in Commack, New York. Its Form 10-K/A filed April 30, 2026, reports 40,630,815 shares outstanding on that date.
The XBRL data shows research and development expense of $2.0 million in fiscal 2025, compared with $2.2 million in fiscal 2024. The net loss was $41.5 million in 2025, compared with net income of $9.1 million in 2024. Cash used in operations was $13.4 million in 2025 and $14.3 million in 2024. Year-end cash and cash equivalents were $6.7 million for 2025 and $308,096 for 2024. The XBRL data gives cash and cash equivalents of $8.2 million at June 30, 2026.
Caveats behind the jump
The 256% rise is measured from about $344,000 in the second quarter, a very small base, and the figure is preliminary, unaudited and subject to customary adjustments. The release gives no profit or loss for the quarter and no gross margin figure, only the company's claim that its margins are historically high and its goal of profitability in 2027. Against that, the company reported a net loss of $41.5 million for 2025, swinging from net income of $9.1 million in 2024, and operations used $13.4 million of cash. Cash and cash equivalents were $8.2 million at June 30, 2026, so the quarter's revenue of about $1.22 million is small beside the cash being used. REZENOPY revenue comes from initial wholesale shipments, and the release gives no patient prescription data.
