The business

Pelthos describes itself as a bio-pharmaceutical company committed to commercializing innovative, safe and efficacious therapeutic products. Its annual report filed March 19, 2026 lists three FDA-approved products: ZELSUVMI, XEPI and XEGLYZE. The products are in various stages of commercialization. ZELSUVMI (berdazimer) topical gel, 10.3% is a nitric oxide releasing agent for the topical treatment of molluscum contagiosum. The company estimates that the infection affects approximately 16 million people of all ages in the United States.

The company says ZELSUVMI was developed using its NITRICIL technology platform. The license from Ligand Pharmaceuticals covers the intellectual property rights needed to make, use, sell or offer to sell ZELSUVMI for molluscum contagiosum in humans worldwide, except for Japan. The company says its final Phase 3 study included 891 enrolled patients and showed statistically significant and clinically meaningful efficacy on both primary and secondary endpoints, with favorable safety results over the 12-week duration. That is the company's description, with no p-values or response rates in the passage.

The company was effectively formed on July 1, 2025, with the merger of Channel Therapeutics Corporation and LNHC, Inc. The merger gave the company ZELSUVMI, a manufacturing facility, equipment and know-how to produce the active pharmaceutical ingredient used in the product, and clinical-stage assets targeting the sodium ion-channel known as NaV1.7. ZELSUVMI was launched in July 2025, shortly after the merger. In the fourth quarter of 2025, the company acquired two additional FDA-approved products.

Financing and recent financial data

On January 12, 2026, Pelthos entered into a Venture Loan and Security Agreement with Horizon Technology Finance Corporation, as lender and collateral agent. The facility is a senior secured term loan of up to $50.0 million. The company borrowed $30.0 million on January 12, 2026, and may borrow the remaining $20.0 million upon achieving milestones set out in the agreement. The company said the proceeds will support commercialization of its existing product, prepare for the launch of two recently acquired products, and provide working capital and general corporate purposes.

For the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025, the XBRL data show revenue of $16.8 million, compared with $0 for 2024. Research and development expense was $1.2 million in both years. The net loss was $43.3 million for 2025, against $8.0 million for 2024. Cash from operations was negative $22.6 million for 2025 and negative $5.8 million for 2024. Year-end 2024 cash and cash equivalents were $513,000.

What the numbers show

The 8-K gives no first-quarter figures, so this filing cannot show whether sales are growing or the loss is narrowing. The only full-year data are for 2025. Revenue was $16.8 million against a net loss of $43.3 million and $22.6 million of cash used in operations. Cash at the end of 2024 was just $513,000, and the company has a senior secured Horizon loan, with $20.0 million that depends on milestones. The annual report says the mechanism of ZELSUVMI against the infection is unknown. The presentation on the company's website is furnished, not filed.
