Pelthos Therapeutics Inc. (NYSE American: PTHS) said in a Form 8-K dated May 28, 2026 that its Chief Executive Officer, Scott Plesha, will present and take part in one-on-one investor meetings at the 2026 Jefferies Global Healthcare Conference on June 4, 2026, in New York, New York. The company issued a press release that day announcing the appearance and furnished it as Exhibit 99.1. A company presentation is attached as Exhibit 99.2. The filing states that information on the company's website is not incorporated into the 8-K.

The approved products

The company's annual report, filed March 19, 2026, says Pelthos has three FDA-approved products in its commercial portfolio: ZELSUVMI, XEPI and XEGLYZE. ZELSUVMI (berdazimer) topical gel, 10.3% is a nitric oxide releasing agent indicated for the topical treatment of molluscum contagiosum in adults and pediatric patients one year of age and older. The report calls it the first FDA-approved topically applied nitric oxide releasing agent indicated for that infection in people ages one year and older. It also describes ZELSUVMI as the first and only prescription medication FDA-approved for use in non-medical settings that can be safely applied by patients, parents and caregivers.

The clinical case for ZELSUVMI

The report says the final Phase 3 study of ZELSUVMI enrolled 891 patients treated with the product and showed statistically significant and clinically meaningful efficacy on both primary and secondary endpoints. The study recorded a greater reduction in lesions at every measurement point and favorable safety results over the 12-week duration. These are the company's words. The passage gives no p-values, effect sizes or comparison arm. Molluscum contagiosum is a highly contagious viral skin infection that primarily affects children, immunocompromised adults and sexually active persons. The company estimates that it afflicts approximately 16 million people of all ages in the United States.

The company also says its market research indicates that physicians have highly favorable opinions about ZELSUVMI's clinical efficacy, safety and practicality. It describes the product as the first and only topical medication indicated for molluscum contagiosum that does not require in-office administration by a healthcare provider. The report notes that ZELSUVMI's mechanism of action against the infection is unknown, and that in vitro studies of its active ingredient, berdazimer sodium, showed anti-pox virus activity on vaccinia virus and reduced early gene expression of molluscum contagiosum virus proteins.

Financial position

For 2025, the XBRL data show revenue of $16.8 million, compared with $0 for 2024. Research and development expense was $1.2 million in both years. The net loss was $43.3 million for 2025 and $8.0 million for 2024. Cash from operations was negative $22.6 million for 2025 and negative $5.8 million for 2024. Year-end 2024 cash and cash equivalents were $513,000. Revenue of $16.8 million in 2025, the launch year, remains well below the net loss and the cash used. The annual report also describes a senior secured term loan from Horizon Technology Finance, of which $30.0 million was drawn in January 2026 and the rest depends on milestones.

The company's history

Pelthos was effectively formed on July 1, 2025, with the merger of Channel Therapeutics Corporation and LNHC, Inc. Channel had been Chromocell Therapeutics Corporation, which completed its initial public offering on the NYSE American on February 21, 2024. LNHC was formed in Delaware in September 2023 by Ligand Pharmaceuticals, Inc., which acquired assets of Novan, Inc. under Section 363 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. The company's license to ZELSUVMI covers the product's intellectual property rights for molluscum contagiosum in humans worldwide, except for Japan.

The 8-K gives no new financial or sales data. It lists the presentation as a Regulation FD disclosure that is furnished rather than filed.
