LogicMark, Inc. (OTC: LGMK) reported first-quarter 2026 results on May 13, 2026. Revenue rose 24% to $3.2 million from $2.6 million a year earlier. The personal safety company said revenue has increased year over year in seven of the last eight quarters. Gross margin expanded 610 basis points to 69.6%, up from 63.5%, and the operating loss narrowed to $1.5 million from $2.4 million. Chief Executive Officer Chia-Lin Simmons said, "These results validate the business model we have been pursuing."

The quarter in detail

Revenue growth came mainly from higher sales of the Freedom Alert Mini units and the upgraded Guardian Alert 911 Plus. Gross profit improved 36% to $2.2 million from $1.6 million. The company credited the margin gain to a price increase put in place in late January, a more favorable product mix, and lower shipping and fulfillment costs.

Total operating expenses fell 7% to $3.7 million from $4.0 million. General and administrative expense dropped $0.5 million on lower stock-based compensation, consulting and legal costs. Advertising fell $0.1 million as the company redirected efforts away from business-to-consumer advertising. Those reductions were partly offset by a $0.3 million increase in selling and marketing expense aimed at business-to-business customers, which reflects additional sales personnel and related costs.

Net loss attributable to common stockholders was $1.5 million, or $1.68 per basic and diluted share, compared with a net loss of $2.3 million, or $93.50 per share, a year earlier. The prior-year per-share figure has been adjusted for the 1-for-750 reverse stock split completed in October 2025.

Products, channels and priorities

LogicMark describes itself as a provider of personal safety and emergency response systems and health communications devices. It sells through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, resellers, business-to-business and consumer channels, and a General Services Administration Multiple Award Schedule contract that lets federal, state and local governments buy its products. The company says it holds more than 45 issued or pending patents.

Management named three priorities: scaling distribution across healthcare, government and business-to-business channels, bringing next-generation products to market, and protecting profitability through pricing, productivity and cost management. The company said a wearable watch it plans to launch later this year will offer advanced health monitoring. A connected-home hub, now entering beta testing, adds AI-powered fall detection that does not require a wearable device.

What the release leaves out

LogicMark is still losing money. The operating loss was $1.5 million and the net loss attributable to common stockholders was $1.5 million, even after a price increase and cost cuts. Part of the gain in gross margin came from raising prices, which may not repeat. The loss per share of $1.68 is stated after the 1-for-750 reverse stock split completed in October 2025, and the same split turns a $2.3 million loss a year earlier into $93.50 a share. The release gives no timing or sales figures for the wearable watch, which the company only plans to launch later this year, and the connected-home hub is still in beta testing. Its own risk language lists the need and availability of financing, competition, tariff and trade risks, and the absence of any assurance that a broker will keep making a market in the stock on the over-the-counter market. The company describes the quarter as strong; that is its own assessment.

Financial position

At March 31, 2026, cash and investments totaled $7.5 million, and the company had no long-term debt. Its 10-K for 2025, filed March 27, 2026, reported revenue of $11.4 million, up from $9.9 million in 2024. Research and development expense was $617,369 in 2025, compared with $558,621 the year before. The net loss for 2025 was $7.5 million, against $9.0 million in 2024. Cash from operations was negative $5.1 million in 2025, compared with negative $4.3 million in 2024.

Management was scheduled to host a conference call and webcast on May 13 at 4:30 PM EDT to review the results.
