iBio, Inc. said Nasdaq has notified it that its share price has fallen below the exchange's minimum.
On July 29, 2025, the San Diego company received written notice from the Listing Qualifications Department of The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC. The notice said that for the preceding 30 consecutive business days, from June 13, 2025 to July 28, 2025, iBio's common stock did not maintain a minimum closing bid price of $1.00 per share, as Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2) requires, according to a Form 8-K filing.
The notice has no immediate effect on the listing or trading of the shares. Under Listing Rule 5810(c)(3)(A), iBio has a compliance period of 180 calendar days, or until January 26, 2026. It can regain compliance if the closing bid price is at or above $1.00 for a minimum of 10 consecutive business days during that period. Nasdaq may, in its discretion, require a longer run, generally no more than 20 consecutive business days.
If iBio misses the January 26, 2026 deadline, it may be eligible for another 180 calendar days. To qualify, it must meet the other listing standards for The Nasdaq Capital Market and tell Nasdaq it intends to cure the deficiency, by effecting a reverse stock split if necessary.
iBio said it intends to actively monitor its bid price and will consider available options, including a reverse stock split, if necessary, to maintain its Nasdaq listing.
