Equillium, Inc. (Nasdaq: EQ) said it has regained compliance with Nasdaq's minimum bid price requirement for continued listing on The Nasdaq Capital Market.

In an 8-K filed September 4, 2025, the La Jolla, California company said the Listing Qualifications Department of Nasdaq sent a letter on August 29, 2025 confirming compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2). That rule requires a listed stock to keep a minimum bid price of $1.00 per share.

Equillium first received a deficiency notice on December 13, 2024, after its common stock failed to meet the $1.00 threshold. A bid price deficiency means a company's shares have closed below the exchange minimum for too long, which can lead to delisting if it is not fixed.

On June 12, 2025, Nasdaq granted the company an additional 180-day period to regain compliance. To do so, Equillium's common stock had to hold a closing bid price of $1.00 per share or more for at least 10 consecutive business days. The company said that requirement was met on August 28, 2025.
