Tickers CUPR

Cuprina said Nasdaq staff told its hearings department the bid price shortfall was cured, and a July 7, 2026 panel hearing was cancelled. The release does not say what moved the share price, and year-end cash was $2.4 million against cash used in operations of $7.1 million.

Cuprina Holdings (Cayman) Limited (Nasdaq: CUPR) said in a press release dated June 12, 2026 that it regained compliance with the Nasdaq Capital Market listing requirements on June 11, 2026. The Singapore company said the hearing before the Nasdaq Hearing Panel, previously set for July 7, 2026, has been cancelled. Its Class A ordinary shares will continue to trade on The Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol CUPR.

The compliance step closes a process that began on May 29, 2026, when Cuprina received a Staff Delisting Determinations Letter. The letter said the company's securities had closed below $1.00 per share for 30 consecutive business days, which fails the minimum bid price requirement under Listing Rule 5550(a)(2). It also said the company had not regained compliance within the 180 calendar days allowed under Listing Rule 5810(c)(3)(a). Cuprina appealed by requesting a hearing before the panel under Listing Rule 5815.

What the release says and does not say

The release says Nasdaq Listing Qualifications staff have advised the Hearings Department that the company has regained compliance with the minimum bid requirement and is in full compliance with the Nasdaq Capital Market's listing requirement. That is the company's account of the staff's finding. The release does not give the share prices behind the staff's decision, and it does not say what moved the stock back above the threshold.

The release also gives CEO David Quek's comment: "We are gratified to regain compliance with Nasdaq." Beyond that, the release names no plan for the share price and no financing. The stock is now out of the delisting process, but the release does not say how long the price held above $1.00 before the staff's review.

The business the listing covers

The release describes Cuprina as a Singapore-based biomedical and biotechnology company that develops and commercializes products for chronic wounds, along with activities in infertility, medical waste recycling and health and beauty. It says its research allows it to use materials derived from natural origins to develop wound care products in the form of medical devices that meet international standards.

The company's initial public offering was completed on April 11, 2025, with 3,000,000 Class A ordinary shares sold at US$4.00 each. An over-allotment of 450,000 shares closed on May 8, 2025. The annual report says the total net proceeds were US$10.85 million after discounts and expenses, and the company said about US$2.95 million went to offering costs. R. F. Lafferty was the representative of the underwriters. The annual report says some of those proceeds went to expansion into new markets, research and development, brand awareness and repayment of loans from related parties that had advanced working capital.

The annual figures

The annual report, filed April 27, 2026, shows revenue of $38,789 for 2025, compared with $35,522 for 2024. The net loss was $3.6 million in 2025, up from $1.1 million in 2024. Cash used in operations was $7.1 million in 2025, against $908,609 in 2024.

Year-end cash and cash equivalents were $2.4 million at December 31, 2025, up from $85,622 at the end of 2024. That balance is smaller than the $7.1 million the company used in operations in 2025. Research and development expense was $176,385 in 2025, against $177,433 in 2024.

What the listing does not change

The regained compliance removes the July hearing from the calendar, but it does not change the company's cash position, its prior losses or the terms of its earlier offering. The release gives no date for the next filing or any step toward a new offering, and it does not say whether the company expects to meet the bid price requirement for the rest of the year.
