Cosmos Health Inc. reported results for the second quarter and first half of 2026 in a release dated August 19, 2026. The company said it delivered its highest second-quarter and first-half revenue in its history. Second-quarter revenue was $18.99 million, up 28.8% from $14.75 million in the second quarter of 2025. Revenue for the first half was $36.91 million, up 29.7% from $28.46 million a year earlier.

Margins and costs

Gross profit for the quarter was $1.51 million, up 29.9% from $1.16 million. For the first half, gross profit was $2.89 million against $3.21 million in the prior-year period. The company said the first-half decline reflected $0.80 million of sales discount reversals, with no matching reduction in cost of goods sold. Excluding those reversals, adjusted gross profit was $1.84 million in the second quarter, up 58.4%, and $3.70 million for the first half, up 15.0%. Adjusted gross margin expanded 165 basis points to 9.54% in the quarter.

Total operating expenses were $4.44 million in the quarter, up 16.5% from $3.81 million. The company tied the increase to higher administrative costs supporting the expansion of Decahedron in the United Kingdom, and to higher advertising and promotional spending on its nutraceutical brands. The net loss for the quarter was $6.09 million, compared with $2.83 million a year earlier. For the first half the net loss was $8.89 million, against $3.65 million. The company said the change was primarily due to $2.65 million of non-cash charges, mainly fair value adjustments on its financing arrangements. Adjusted EBITDA was a loss of $1.13 million, compared with a loss of $1.31 million in the second quarter of 2025, but the first-half adjusted EBITDA loss widened to $1.72 million from $1.14 million. The adjusted figures are the company's own measures.

Balance sheet and capital return

Total liabilities fell $6.27 million, or 13.3%, to $40.79 million as of June 30, 2026, from $47.05 million at year-end 2025. Total assets were $61.46 million, compared with $65.48 million at year-end 2025. Stockholders' equity rose 12.2% to $20.67 million, and the liabilities-to-assets ratio improved by 550 basis points. Liquid assets totaled $4.15 million, made up of $2.45 million in cash and cash equivalents and $1.70 million in digital assets and marketable securities.

On June 26, 2026, the board authorized a share repurchase program of up to $5.0 million, expiring December 31, 2026 and renewable at the company's discretion. The company repurchased 2,650,000 shares for about $513,000 in the second quarter. Open market purchases have continued into the third quarter, bringing total repurchases to 5,112,000 shares for about $1.11 million as of the date of the release.

Business and growth

CosmoFarm delivered record quarterly revenue of over $15 million, with a run rate above $60 million annualized, and added more than 75 new pharmacies. Cana Laboratories built its contract manufacturing orderbook to over 25 million units across nine therapeutic categories, under agreements extending up to ten years. The company signed a distribution agreement with International Medical Company for Qatar, which secured an initial order of 31,000 Sky Premium Life units.

Full-year 2025 figures

For fiscal 2025, the company reported revenue of $65.3 million, up from $54.4 million in fiscal 2024. It reported a net loss of $19.1 million, compared with $16.2 million in 2024. Cash used in operations was $8.4 million, against $7.7 million a year earlier.

Losses and a thin cash balance

The release says record momentum continues into the third quarter and lists the share repurchase program as underway. The hard numbers are less comfortable. Revenue growth has not produced profit: gross margin was only 7.96%. Liquid assets of $4.15 million, of which $1.70 million is digital assets and marketable securities, sit against total liabilities of $40.79 million. Cash used in operations was $8.4 million in 2025. The company is paying for buybacks from that small cash balance while it still loses money.
