Biophytis SA changed the terms of a straight bond financing facility established with Hexagon Capital Fund on August 5, 2025. The facility was first amended on February 26, 2026, and amended a second time on May 22, 2026. The company announced the latest changes in a release dated May 27, 2026.

According to the release, the changes make the facility revolving and reduce its cost. The company says the changes are part of its strategy to optimize its financial structure and secure the resources needed to achieve its clinical ambitions.

CEO Stanislas Veillet said: "By making this facility revolving and reducing its cost, we are giving ourselves valuable flexibility to finance our next steps under the best conditions." He described the adjustments as active and disciplined financial management in support of the strategy.

The release does not give the new amounts or the new rate, and it does not say whether the changes add new money. Hexagon Capital Fund is the lender on the facility. The release names no placement agent or advisor.
