Aiforia Technologies Plc and the European Investment Bank (EIB) signed a binding venture debt financing agreement of up to EUR 20 million, according to the company's release dated July 31, 2026. The EIB is the lender under the agreement.

Aiforia announced on June 15, 2026, that it had agreed with the EIB on a non-binding indicative term sheet for a facility of up to EUR 20 million. The company says the main terms of the financing are in line with those previously announced.

The financing is divided into three tranches: EUR 5 million, EUR 7 million and EUR 8 million.

Because the financing is venture debt, its terms include non-financial covenants that the company describes as customary for such financings. For example, changes of the CEO or the chairperson of the Board require EIB's prior written consent. The release says this reflects the confidence EIB places in Aiforia's current management team.

The release names no placement agent or advisor.
