Xeris Biopharma develops and commercializes pharmaceutical products that prioritize its commercial capabilities and proprietary formulation technologies. Gvoke is a ready-to-use, liquid-stable glucagon for the treatment of severe hypoglycemia in pediatric and adult patients with diabetes aged two years and above, and it can be administered in two simple steps. Keveyis is the first therapy approved in the United States to treat hyperkalemic, hypokalemic and related variants of PPP, a rare genetic, neuromuscular disorder. Its lead pipeline program is XP-8121, which the company is developing as the first and only once-weekly, subcutaneous injection of levothyroxine for hypothyroidism. The company plans to initiate a Phase 3 clinical trial of XP-8121 in 2026. The company says it believes XP-8121 represents a significant commercial opportunity in the United States, with the potential to generate approximately $1 billion in annual net revenue at peak penetration.
