Its second product, sepranolone, is a neurosteroid epimer of allopregnanolone acquired from Asarina Pharma AB. It is being developed for Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS), Tourette Syndrome (TS), essential tremor and other diseases related to excessive GABAergic activity, with a Phase 2 study in PWS expected to start in mid-2026. The company also reports that FDA agreed to key elements of the planned NDV-01 Phase 3 program.
