Precigen entered a five-year senior secured loan agreement with funds managed by Pharmakon Advisors. A $25.0 million delayed draw tranche is available until June 29, 2027, and the loans mature September 3, 2030.

Enrollment in the Phase 1b trial of PRGN-3006, an UltraCAR-T candidate, has been completed. In August 2024 the company paused enrollment in the PRGN-3005 and PRGN-3007 trials as part of portfolio prioritization. The company also uses Sleeping Beauty, a non-viral transposon system licensed from the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, to deliver gene programs.
