## The bid-price notice

Propanc Biopharma, Inc. (Nasdaq: [PPCB](https://aibio.space/companies/propanc-biopharma/)) received a written notice from the Listing Qualifications Department of The Nasdaq Stock Market on October 23, 2026. The notice says the company no longer meets the $1.00 minimum bid price requirement under Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2) for continued listing on The Nasdaq Capital Market. Nasdaq based that on the closing bid price over the 30 consecutive business days before October 21, 2026. The company disclosed the notice in an 8-K filed on October 29, 2026, signed by Chief Executive Officer James Nathanielsz.

## No compliance period

Normally a company gets 180 calendar days to fix a bid price shortfall. Propanc does not, because it carried out a reverse stock split within the prior one-year period, which makes it ineligible under Listing Rule 5810(c)(3)(A)(iv). The 8-K does not say when that split took place.

Nasdaq says the shares will be delisted on November 2, 2026, unless Propanc asks a hearings panel to review the decision by October 30, 2026. An appeal stays the delisting, and the shares would keep trading until the panel rules. Propanc says it intends to request the appeal by that deadline, and that it believes it has cured the bid price deficiency since receiving the notice. The 8-K does not give the bid price, or the date on which the company says the deficiency was cured.

The company says the notice does not affect its business, operations or SEC reporting. The 8-K also lists what delisting could mean: lower liquidity and share price, fewer investors willing to hold the stock, a harder time raising equity, a limited ability to sell freely tradable securities under a registration statement, and less ability to grant equity incentives to employees.

## The cash burn

The annual report on Form 10-K, filed September 25, 2026, shows spending rising sharply. For the year ended June 30, 2026, Propanc reported a net loss of $18.9 million and cash used in operations of $5.7 million. For the year ended June 30, 2025, it reported a net loss of $58.9 million and cash used in operations of $405,168. Research and development expense rose from $223,721 to $625,477 over the same two years.

The 8-K gives no cash balance and describes no financing plan. The delisting risk therefore falls on a company that, by its own 10-K figures, used $5.7 million in operations in fiscal 2026.

## The business

The 10-K describes Propanc as a biopharmaceutical company developing a proenzyme therapy for solid tumors. Its lead candidate, PRP, is a combination of pancreatic proenzymes, trypsinogen and chymotrypsinogen, given by intravenous injection. The FDA granted PRP Orphan Drug Designation for pancreatic cancer in June 2017. A separate POP1 program aims to produce a backup clinical compound to PRP.

The company says it has conducted pre-clinical studies on PRP and started preparing a clinical study in advanced cancer patients. It plans to submit a clinical trial application in the fourth quarter of calendar 2026, begin trial site preparation in the first quarter of 2027, and start a First-In-Human Phase Ib study in the first half of 2027. The 10-K says that start is "subject to raising additional sufficient capital". The company hopes to complete the study within twenty-four months after it begins, at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne.

The 10-K cites "positive early indications" of anti-cancer effects, but that rests on pre-clinical work. The clinical study itself has not started, and the company's own timetable makes it depend on new money.

## What comes next

Propanc's immediate step is the appeal, which it plans to file by October 30, 2026. A panel hearing would decide whether the listing continues. The clinical plan calls for a trial application in late 2026 and a human study in 2027, and both depend on financing the company has not yet secured.
