Nektar Therapeutics (Nasdaq: [NKTR](https://aibio.space/companies/nektar-therapeutics/)) said in an 8-K dated December 2, 2024 that it completed the previously announced disposition of its manufacturing facility in Huntsville, Alabama. The buyer is an affiliate of Ampersand Management LLC, which does business as Ampersand Capital Partners.

The transaction also covers certain other manufacturing assets related to the facility. The purchaser assumed certain related liabilities.

The sale is governed by an Asset Purchase Agreement dated as of November 1, 2024, between Nektar and the purchaser. Nektar filed that agreement as an exhibit to a Current Report on Form 8-K filed on November 4, 2024. The December 2 filing, made under Item 2.01 (completion of an acquisition or disposition of assets), refers readers to that agreement for the full terms of the transaction.
