Intensity Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: [INTS](https://aibio.space/companies/intensity-therapeutics/)) said on August 4, 2025 that it sold 19,868,658 shares of common stock in July 2025 through its at-the-market offering, or ATM, at an average price of $0.3323 per share. Gross proceeds were $6.6 million, or $6.3 million net. An ATM lets a public company sell newly issued shares into the existing market at the prevailing price, without an underwritten deal. After the sales, the company had 46,035,081 shares outstanding as of July 31, 2025.

The release says the average price was more than 10% above the price of its June 2025 public offering, and that the costs of raising this capital were much lower. It does not give the June offering price. CEO Lewis H. Bender said the proceeds "allow us to continue to advance the clinical trials into the second half of 2026," and that the company will be "selective and strategic" in using the rest of the ATM.

The release's forward-looking statements list two risks that bear on the money. One is a potential inability to satisfy the Nasdaq Capital Market's requirements for continued listing. The other is the need to raise additional funding before the company can expect to generate revenue from product sales.

## The lead drug and its trials

Intensity's lead candidate, INT230-6, combines two generic chemotherapy drugs, cisplatin and vinblastine sulfate, with an amphiphilic molecule called SHAO, and it is injected directly into tumors. The company says the mixture spreads through the tumor, and that the drugs remain there. Both are FDA-approved intravenous drugs, cisplatin since 1978 and vinblastine since 1965. The company says it has enrolled more than 200 patients with INT230-6 across its studies.

The Phase 1/2 IT-01 study enrolled 110 patients in three arms: INT230-6 alone, with Merck's Keytruda and with Bristol Myers Squibb's Yervoy. Enrollment was completed in June 2022. The INVINCIBLE-2 study, a Phase 2 randomized trial in early-stage breast cancer, enrolled 91 subjects. Its key question was whether INT230-6 could reduce a patient's cancer compared with no treatment or a saline injection, and the company reports that some patients saw more than 95% necrosis of the tumor before surgery. The company also says the drug had a favorable safety profile in that study. The sample is small, and the release does not report survival data from it.

The Phase 3 INVINCIBLE-3 study began dosing its first patient in July 2024. It is an open-label, randomized trial of INT230-6 alone against standard drugs in second- and third-line soft tissue sarcoma. It plans 333 patients at up to 60 centers in eight countries, with overall survival as the endpoint. The company's annual report on 2024 expected enrollment to finish in the first half of 2026.

INVINCIBLE-4, a Phase 2 study run with the Swiss Group for Clinical Cancer Research, SAKK, dosed its first patient in October 2024 in localized triple-negative breast cancer. It plans 54 patients, with the change in pathological complete response as the endpoint. Enrollment was expected to finish by the end of the first quarter of 2026.

The release reports no Phase 3 results.

## The company and its money

Intensity describes itself as a late-stage clinical biotechnology company based in Shelton, Connecticut. Its platform, DfuseRx, is built to deliver water-based drugs into the fatty, pressurized environment of solid tumors. The company argues that this limits prior intratumoral treatments, a claim the trials must still prove.

The release gives the ATM proceeds and the runway statement, but no balance sheet figure, no net loss and no revenue. The forward-looking language also names the need to raise more funding before any product revenue.

## What comes next

The release points to the cash runway reaching the second half of 2026 and says the company will use the remaining ATM capacity selectively. It gives no new trial dates. The enrollment dates in the annual report on 2024 are the last dated targets here. Further ATM sales would add to the 46,035,081 shares already outstanding.
