Evommune, Inc. (NYSE: [EVMN](https://aibio.space/companies/evommune/)), a clinical-stage company developing drugs for chronic inflammatory diseases, closed its initial public offering on November 7, 2025. The [final prospectus, dated November 5](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/2044725/000119312525270066/d771358d424b4.htm), offered 9,375,000 common shares at $16.00 each. The underwriters received a 30-day option to purchase 1,406,250 more shares to cover over-allotments. The stock was approved for listing on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol EVMN.

## The offering and the charter change

The cover page of the prospectus names Morgan Stanley, Leerink Partners, Evercore ISI and Cantor as underwriters. The cover page does not say which of them led the deal. Evommune's restated certificate of incorporation took effect at the closing. The company [filed an amended and restated certificate](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/2044725/000119312525272282/d38367d8k.htm) with the Delaware Secretary of State on November 7, along with new bylaws.

## The lead drug and its early data

Evommune's most advanced candidate, EVO756, is an oral small molecule that blocks MRGPRX2, a receptor found mainly on mast cells and peripheral sensory neurons. The company is developing it for chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU) and atopic dermatitis (AD). A second candidate, EVO301, is in Phase 2 for AD and ulcerative colitis.

A Phase 1 trial of EVO756 in 132 healthy volunteers found the drug well tolerated at all doses, with no serious adverse events, and the company says the pharmacokinetic results support daily dosing. That study was designed to test safety and how the body handles the drug. It says little about whether the drug works in patients.

The company's clearest efficacy evidence comes from a Phase 2 trial in chronic inducible urticaria, completed in May 2025, in people with symptomatic dermographism. Of 27 observed patients, 70% (n=19) improved at four weeks, and 30% (n=8) reached a complete response. Another 11% (n=3) had a partial response, and 30% (n=8) had a one-point drop on the FricTest scale. Average FricTest reductions were 1.4 points in the 300 mg once-daily group and 1.5 points in the 50 mg twice-daily group. Groups this small cannot establish an effect on their own.

## A different condition, and comparisons across trials

Symptomatic dermographism is not the CSU indication the company is pursuing. Evommune argues that the two diseases overlap and that the same neurogenic inflammation drives both, which is a scientific claim, not a result. The prospectus also compares its numbers with other drugs. Omalizumab, in an independent trial of 19 patients, produced a 1.4-point FricTest reduction at 300 mg. Barzolvolimab, in a trial of 33 patients, produced 1.6 points. Those trials were run separately, with different patients and designs, so the figures are not a head-to-head comparison.

Itch scores fell by 2.4 points in the 300 mg once-daily group and by 2.1 points in the 50 mg twice-daily group. The company says 93% (n=25) of observed patients improved on either FricTest or itch score at four weeks. Itch relief is a patient-reported measure, and the trial that produced it was small.

## What came next

Evommune started a Phase 2b dose-ranging trial of EVO756 in CSU in April 2025, and the prospectus said it expected initial results in the first half of 2026. The prospectus also leaned on the dermographism data to support an atopic dermatitis program. That program has since failed. On September 8, 2026 the company announced top-line results from a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 2b trial of EVO756 in 121 adults with moderate-to-severe AD. The trial did not meet its primary endpoint, percent change in EASI score at Week 12, and it missed its primary and secondary endpoints at every dose studied. The company said EVO756 was generally well tolerated and that it does not plan to advance the drug in AD.

Evommune said it will continue Phase 2b development of EVO756 in migraine prophylaxis. It also said EVO301, its IL-18BP fusion protein, will enter a Phase 2b trial in AD planned for mid-2027, following what it called positive Phase 2a proof-of-concept data, and that its balance sheet supports operations into 2029. The September release does not mention the CSU trial that the prospectus expected to report, so the filings do not show how that trial came out.
