60 Degrees Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: [SXTP](https://aibio.space/companies/60-degrees-pharmaceuticals/)) filed a July 2026 corporate presentation as an exhibit to a Form 8-K dated July 20, 2026. The deck describes the company's mission as developing and commercializing new products that address the unmet medical need associated with vector-borne disease. It says the company is targeting profitability in 2028, based on continued commercial growth in malaria prevention and on achieving a supplemental indication for babesiosis.

## The marketed product

ARAKODA (tafenoquine) received US FDA approval on August 8, 2018 and became commercially available in 2019. The deck describes it as an 8-aminoquinoline antimalarial active against all stages of Plasmodium species, indicated for the prophylaxis of malaria in patients aged 18 years and older. It lists a weekly dose as a convenience, no drug resistance, and a recommendation from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention without geographic restrictions.

The deck cites eight published clinical studies involving more than 1,100 patients for the safety profile. It describes the US malaria prevention market as a $50-70M opportunity, and it says the product has a robust US distribution network.

## Patents and pipeline

The deck lists four Orange Book listed patents expiring in December 2035, plus more than 42 other patents that are filed, pending or optioned. It says the company's babesiosis program is planned as an NDA for 2027, depending on the outcome of its clinical trial program, and that the FDA granted orphan drug status for tafenoquine in babesiosis in 2024. The deck adds that other products targeting tick-borne disease have been optioned or are in development.

## Leadership

Geoffrey Dow is chief executive and president. He co-founded the company in 2010 and has over 20 years of experience in product development for tropical diseases. The deck says he has 13 years of leadership and advisory experience in the antimalarial drug development program at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research and the US Army Medical Materiel Development Activity. The deck credits him with securing FDA approval for ARAKODA and managing post-marketing regulatory commitments.

Bryan Smith, a medical doctor, is chief medical officer, with expertise in clinical pharmacology, pharmacovigilance, regulatory strategy and translational medicine. He joined in 2016, has more than 30 years of experience in governmental research and leadership, and is a retired military colonel. Kristen Landon, chief commercial officer, joined in 2024 and has more than 26 years of experience building pharmaceutical brands. The deck says she has launched or relaunched more than a dozen brands, many with peak revenues above $100 million. Tyrone Miller, chief financial officer, joined in 2014 and is credited in the deck with raising over $6 million in external financing.

## Financial position

The annual report filed March 30, 2026 reported revenue of $1.0 million for 2025 and $607,574 for 2024. Research and development expense was $2.1 million in 2025 and $5.0 million in 2024. The net loss was $7.4 million in 2025 and $7.9 million in 2024. Cash from operations was negative $6.8 million in 2025 and negative $5.6 million in 2024. Year-end 2024 cash and cash equivalents were $1.7 million, with short-term investments of $1.7 million. The deck's own risk list says there is substantial doubt about the company's ability to continue as a going concern. Set against that, a 2028 profitability target rests on revenue of $1.0 million and a net loss of $7.4 million in 2025.

## What comes next

The deck's timeline runs through an NDA for babesiosis planned for 2027 and the company's target of profitability in 2028. The deck makes no statement about the outcome of the babesiosis studies, so the 2027 NDA is a plan that depends on trial results not yet reported. The $50-70M malaria prevention market size is the company's own estimate.
