Its lead product candidate, OST-HER2 (also known as OST31-164), is a cancer immunotherapy that aims to produce a cellular immune response against the HER2 antigen. It is an off-the-shelf immunotherapy made from a genetically weakened and modified strain of Listeria monocytogenes that expresses HER2 peptides. A clinical study in patients after resection of recurrent osteosarcoma enrolled 41 patients, and the company announced in the first quarter of 2025 that its Phase IIb trial achieved its primary endpoint. In October 2025 it reported final two-year overall survival data, in which 75% (27 of 36 evaluable patients) of OST-HER2-treated patients reached two-year overall survival, compared with 40% in historical control patients. The company submitted the non-clinical and CMC modules of a Biologics License Application for OST-HER2 to the FDA at the end of January 2026. It also owns rights to an OST-Tunable Drug Conjugate platform, which is in preclinical development.
